Research:


Looking at work that is already out there - 

Image 1 is a screenshot of the Brighton and Hove Council's Youtube page. What I take from this image is the predominant theme of each thumbnail. The coloured shape is a consistent recurring theme of each video, so we will make sure to stick to the clients brand and use it within our video. We can use it at the start where we inform the audience of what the video is: 'We asked 50 residents of Brighton where they were from and this is what we found out' for example. This is implementing a similar idea to what we saw in the 'We are Bristol' video (Image 2). Similar to the image 2 style we will also be filming in a studio. The shots will look like image 3 a close up headshot well lit with a plain background. Making the focus be more on the individual themselves than anything else.
